If you want to know it's sex, post a picture, or two of the comb?
Haha awwwww her name is Pearl Hart. She is a boss and struts her stuff for sure lol.I think you just a have a cute girl that wants to be a peacock.
Looks like a pullet to me. Fan tails in juveniles are not unusual, your pullet will likely change her tail shape anyway when she grows in her adult feathers.Nothing crazy going on in the comb/waddle department. Just a slight rose color thats been gradual. Nothing is developing fast on the head.. just that huge tail. I guess that is my question....can a tail like that be a rooster indicator or is that just nonsense lol
Thank you! Comb and waddles are slowly developing at the same rate of the other pullets. A little rose but normal for this breed. We will see if those take off and get growing more or darker quicker than the others. The tail at this age does not mean anything, roosters will only begin growing in their sickle feathers at 14-20 weeks old. The comb and wattles are a more reliable indicator.
Thanks! Thats helpful! Her booty cracks me up!Looks like a pullet to me. Fan tails in juveniles are not unusual, your pullet will likely change her tail shape anyway when she grows in her adult feathers.
