I wonder if either of them were laying before the move. I can see how it could be spring the next year before they started laying...if they're a little over a year old now, maybe by the time they just got old enough to lay in the late summer/fall last year they could have molted, then with the cold weather then the move...I bet she starts laying soon, too.
