got the double batch of potato soup put away and most of the deer meat cooked for the freezer. hubby's truck was fixed today and I'm healthy and alive.

The Yankees play in an hour and I am still awake to watch.

I made a temporary ramp to help my roosters get up onto their roosts in their new coop until we redo it next weekend. Not a great feat, but something I would have normally asked hubbie to do.

It involved a hammer and nails, two things well out of my jurisdiction.

AND, I started the wood stove without any kindling available. I used shavings and got the logs going, and now I am toasty warm!
LOL LOL big feats for me, pats on the back all round!

I started my new job today

Got the power budget for my project done at work, and my boss took the day off to boot!

Kids did their homework without a fuss, DD is back on track doing her math and even asked me to make up extra problems for her.

Made some ruby curry, sitting down to play Warcraft with my wife. All in all, a good day!

Everything about today is good since I'm well and very blessed. It's amazing how little things can bother you when you decide to be in a good mood.
