My 6 month old Polish rooster is lethargic and laying around disinterested. He is literally laying on the ground and he looks dead from a distance. If you approach him he will jump up and sqwauk, he will run from me or pitch a fit if I pick him up (normal behavior for him). He will the rejoin the flock, but if I go out 20 min later he is in the same position again. He is drinking and eating very little. The other birds leave him alone and he has the energy to get up if he is provoked but is spending his days in this prone position. I have added Corid to the water for the entire flock. What in the world is going on with this bird?? Is he sick or is this a nuerological disorder ? I am stumped!
