What is happening to my newly hatched Samara chicks? And are these eggs possibly still have chicks hatching?

Hi everyone!

I’ve hatched a couple of clutches of Samara babies. For some reason, ( which I would like to know,) some of them are hatching with their feet not normal! Including pictures. Feet are forward!

And I kindled two of the last eggs from the same clutch to see if they will hatch and both have weird bubble at the thick end. Including pictures also. I might have placed these later. 1-2 days.

Can you get candling pictures in a very dark room? The red color is promising.

Their feet look normal for newly hatched chicks. It usually takes a full day or two for them to get use to their feet. By bubble do you mean the air cell or is there another bubble forming?

I agree with the above poster. Mine didn't their balance until they wre dry. Everything looks normal to me. Just give them some time to get their feed under them.

The "weird bubble" Is called an air cell, it supposed to be there.

So those two eggs that are left in the incubator might still have chicks developing. I should provably put the tray back so it keeps turning them often. I will take better pictures of them in the dark and post them. I thought that when babies chick are developing they take up the whole inside of the eggs?

And regarding the little guy with weird feet, I'll give him more time.

Were all of the eggs placed on the same day? If so, I would not put the tray back in. Give them more time to hatch.

I wouldn't put the turner back in then.

Don't turn them anymore. That can cause problems with hatching.
