what is happening?

I noticed a few days ago that one of my RIR had a good amount of down sticking out of the feathers on her breast. Today she still has it along with one of my BO's but not as much, also an EE has a small amount. Is it from fighting each other. They are 20 weeks old and these three seem to be in the top of the pecking order, it is hard to believe they are being picked on.

I don't know about usually but one of my girls appears to be. The other two don't seem to be. So, I dunno. Sorry...
