What is in this chicken poop?

Most chickens around 5 pounds would get 250 mg twice a day, so I would mix a capsule in a little cream cheese or egg and give half in the morning and half in the evening. Some posts say 125 mg twice a day. I believe you can be safe with 125-250mg twice a day though. Others say to give 57 mg per pound twice a day, but that is pretty close to 250 mg. Amoxicillin is best for wounds, bumblefoot, enteritis, or for egg yolk peritonitis. Respiratory diseases from bacteria are better treated with tylosin, tiagard/Denagard, or oxytetracycline.

I'm asking for future knowledge. We have Amoxicillin on hand, from the dentist. Would we be able to use this if a chicken needed it?

It is in 500mg capsules. Would we want to give a chicken that amount? or more like 1/2 or less?

Hopefully we will never need it.
Yes, you can:) 👇
