What is it? Polish? Swedish Flower? Mix?

Hello, I'm Mindy!

Does anybody know what kind of chicken this is? My sister bought 7 chicks around easter and this one had curled toes, couldn't walk, and had fallen in her waterer. She was ice cold and soaked when I found her. She had her eyes closed and was taking her last breaths. I took her lifeless body and ran warm water over her for a couple of mins, and she slowly came back. I have had her at my house since then. Then I had to deal with her curled toes issue...I Googled about it and created sandals for her feet. They eventually straightened. Anyway...her name is Lucky, but I have know idea what breed (s) she is.

I call it a "she", but I'm not sure at all!!

Please delight me with your breed knowledge

Don't those have extra toes?..from what I was reading.

I'm thinking Polish or Polish mix. Houdans have the fifth toe and that seems to be dominant, so I'd expect a mix to have five also. Then again, Polish have darker shanks.

Watching to see what others think....

Mottled Houdans should have 5 toes, and muffs.

Swedish Flowers don't have crests like that. Yours looks to be a Polish with non standard coloring.

I agree that's not the crest a Swedish has, this is a full on tophat. Looks like a Polish to me.
