What is it?

Have looked at photos until my eyes hurt and can't decide between light brown leghorn or Welsummer.
She is 12 weeks old.

Don't strain too hard, they're almost identical!

The big key is earlobes. Leghorns have huge white earlobes, but they don't always develop right away and I can't see them in that pic. Leghorns also get larger combs earlier, and are lighter bodied.

Good news is, it is a female! I'm leaning toward Wellie right now, but maybe post again in a few weeks, or a better head shot where we can see the earlobe.


You'll know for sure when she lays. White=leghorn dark brown=Welsummer.
