what is killing my chickens

I thought so too, but at 4 square feet per bird in the coop, he's good for 55 chickens, since he free ranges during the day. He can put 64 chickens in a coop that size.

Yes.. they have about 1/2 of acre two play around only at night is that they stay together

My oldest chickens are about 16 months old and I have about 20 baby's left and they show all the symptoms. . thank you

Thank you and will this affect on my big chickens and they eggs because like I say I have about 55 chickensf in a coop 16 feet by 16 feet long and they lay about 17 eggs a day is that good or bad
The use of amprollium or Coxoid will not affect your eggs--you can eat them without any withdrawal time.

I'm sorry for all this questions I'm new in raising chickens.but will coccidiosis affected the chickens laying eggs like I said i'm only going 17 eggs out per day with 55 chickens thanks for your help and support

I would say that's off from what they should be laying. From what I've read of chicken diseases, most of them make them lay less. Adults are rare to get cocci, but they can apparently. There's not a ton of info I'm finding, but if they have signs of the cocci, bloody stool, sitting around all puffy and lethargic, I would get Corid and treat for the severe outbreak. Maybe even dribble a little in the really sick ones' beaks.
