What is little Stubby?

He/she is a 4 week old chick from Ideal's "Surprise Special". He/She is on the large side and is named Stubby due to his/her lack of a tail when all the others have theirs. No feathering on the legs and appears to have a single comb.

I'm by no means an expert, I have never ordered from IDEAL, but looks like a black australorp cockerel to my very untrained eye. Like I said, just a guess.

Australorps should have white foot pads... looks like yellow on the feet to me... if bottoms of the feet are yellow, then Jersey Giant...
