What is my dog mixed with? PICS!!

Hey everyone I got this little guy as a 7week old pup from the humane society when i was volunteering. His name is Junior. He's 55 lbs and is about 11 months old. What breeds do you think are in his makeup? I'm very curious.

Rottie...maybe some shepherd.

If I had to guess, personally I'd maybe plunk for Rottie x some kind of hound. But, who knows. For example if you need him to have no Rottie or GSD blood, for homeowners insurance reasons, he could be officially regarded as a lab x hound. Actually I'd be surprised if there weren't more than just two breeds involved.

As long as you're having fun and he's having a good home, that's what matters

At 55lbs he's rather small. So I would guess he probably has a smaller breed in the mix. I would suspect Rottie/lab, Rottie/hound, may be a bit bigger.

He sure is a looker

If he were Rottie-hound the ears would be much larger and wouldn't airplane like that. He looks classic Rottie-Shepherd (substitute any one of the many shepherd cousins) to me. Rottie x something with upright ears and sable coloring, for sure.

My first thought was Doberman/Hound with maybe some Lab thrown in.
