What is my horse's lineage?

I recently bought an unregistered Paint gelding but no one knows his lineage. How can I tell by his shape what his parents might have been? He's 16.2 hh, and 5.5 years old, with a really sweet calm disposition. I'm not sure if he's a combo quarter horse, arab, thoroughbred, or warmblood mix...any ideas?

He looks like one of our Mustangs. Without knowing his background you will never know. Just enjoy him, he is cute.

Looks like there might be some arabian in there, his face is fairly dished.

I am definitely no expert ( not even close), but my thoughts are with height like that--maybe thoroughbred. His legs arenot thick enough to be draft breed, so my guess is thouroughbred.

He sure is pretty though.
