I take it back he's not nice to my hens/chicks. I came home and saw him get real aggressive with my young silkie/EE cross. Then he when after both of my Serama hens then my young silkie hen. The last straw was him picking up my young copper maran by the back of her neck and throwing her. Thank goodness she's not hurt. Needless to say his life just got a lot shorter. To bad to he's nice to me and he's got a great melodic crow

He looks very similar to my "Ameraucana" I have. Mine is also mildly aggressive and very stand-offish. But he has the exact same grey muffs, red/orange neck and hackles and emerald green tail. Beautiful birds but unfortunately no room for aggression on my farm. He's hitting Craigslist this weekend. :/

He's a beautiful bird. For the sake of my young hens he has to go. I have a silkie that is slightly aggressive to me but is a gentalman to the ladies. I'd rather have him bounce of my leg every now and then have my hens injured.

Ain't that the truth. I can take a little abuse from a Roo IF he is a gentleman to the hens and a good breeder. My "Ameraucana" is neither so he's out. Unfortunately. :/
