About 2 weeks ago we culled a EE rooster because He went mean when hormones kicked in. Now our other EE roo is acting weird toward me, he pecks my foot, he like tries to herd me? (He walks around me looking at me). This morning he jumped on the roosting poles chest level and started "bowing" his head at me? (I felt like a queen) I have no clue what to make of this. He is starting to scare me. Our other roo was just plain mean and didn't show this behavior so it doesn't seam the same.
Ok I'm just going to ask this question and let everyone know........
Could it have ANYTHING to do with the fact that he started this behavior like 2 days before ummmmm MY monthly? and has only gotten weirder as ummmmm I got my monthly? and continues to be weird as ummm my monthly continues?

I know, I know TMI (too much information). But I pay attention to details. My husband thinks I crazy anyways so why not act it right?

Sounds like he is stepping up to the plate... Was the one you culled the alpha? If so my guess would be that this one is just taking over as alpha--- you need to put him in his place right away--- I would have knocked him off the roost and chased him out the door--- making a lot of noise all the while. If he charges you give him a boot in the butt.... good luck!

I agree. He's trying to treat you as he would a hen. Nip it in the bud. You are not a hen and you don't have to do what he wants.

hhhmmm, could you come tell my husband I am not a suspect and I don't have to do what he wants???? It sounds so good coming from you.

And yes, I agree, he is trying to be dominant- undominate the fool.

Have you tried a good swift kick to his behind? (The hubby's, not the roos)

What I thought. and yes the culled one was the alpha. and I kicked him in the *** (butt) he just got meaner and pecked me harder and more. I did read some where here about someone who chased the roo down and held it down like he did to the hen. and the roo left her alone then. That sounds like fun I think I will try it. tehehe
