what is my rooster?

This is my beautiful boy, great rooster, BUT I cannot remember what he is?! It wasn't Rhode island red( at least I don't think so because I don't personally like them so I try to stay away from them).....he isn't a mix I bought him in a single chick hathched crisis and don't remember what the guy said he was. He is an awesome rooster for my girls. My husband constantly wants to know what he is lol.

If more pictures are needed I can get more!

Can't put my finger on any breed that he could be.
To me he looks like a RIR X buff orpington.

I'd actually say mix. His coloring is similar to a NH Red, but they have yellow legs.

Well, I found the website I ordered him from, the only red chicken they have is Rhode island red. When I look up Rhode island reds their coloring is usually darker and they have more black/green tails. Well he is young still about 7 months and still regrouping his tail.

Plus, RIR have yellow legs too.
