What is my "Welsummer"?

At first I thought she was a Welsummer, but she looks too gamy.
I've seen pictures of chickens that look exactly like her, but I was never able to find out the breed. Anybody know?

Where did you get her from? A breeder? A TSC or Rural King? Typically people know the breeds they are selling - did someone just hand off a random chick to you?
She was given to me by my neighbors who had to move and couldn't take their two chickens with them, so they put them in my care. One of them is clearly a Rhode Island Red, but this one left me stumped. They don't know what she is either.

i think she looks like a red dorking hen but i’m not an expert lol. she’s really pretty too!

She almost looks just like them! It's just that tail of hers.
yeah her tail feathers do look different. i thought maybe she could be a cross between a red dorking and a grey dorking because she looks a bit more grey than a red dorking but it could be the lighting too. grey dorkings usually have longer tails too…

Maybe, although I think she's a bit too small to be a dorking.

how old is she? i have a grey dorking and she’s pretty small and she’s past growing.
