i know i have heard of it before and i just cant remember what it is?
I'm asking because i got two new chickens this wk end from a breeder well she reminded me of a hoarder the conditions for these chickens were so bad,,,,, they came to me covered in lice the older hen was way over bred and was missing all her back feathers and has a sore on her breast I'm trying to figure out how to heal ( any suggestions would be very welcomed) and they had worms etc... it was bad oi have had them since Saturday and yesterday i went to the TSC store and got them dewormer for their water and got this powder that is safe for the chickens that kills all parasites it was in the chicken isle that someone at the TSC store strongly recommended... did everything and happy to report i did not find any bugs on either of the new girls and they pooped out a bunch of worms and they look healthier and eating great!!!
BUT ..... this Lady swore she didn't know anything about them being infested and about the one having a respiratory disease and that she has never heard of chicken live before ??????? WHAT ???? but she says she has a NPIP license and that she couldn't take them back cause i didnt have one and that she never knew about what was wrong with them i have been very upset with all this but determined to saves these little chickens lives and give them a better home!!!!
