One of my pekins has bumble foot in one foot and the scab/plug came half way out on its own this morning, and while I was checking that foot I noticed on her other foot this? She is growling at me when I’m touching this foot. This foot has never been swollen, she’s never favored it, and it doesn’t have any heat right now.

It appears she is suffering from bumblefoot - that can be a frequent problem with Pekins due to their heavyweight, oftentimes erosion will occur of the footpads allowing bacterial penetration into the skin. The severity of the bumblefoot doesn't look too far progressed, so you may start by soaking the foot in the warm antiseptic mix to loosen the scab, afterward attempt to take the scabbing off, and squeeze any caseous material, or pus out.

The area can then be lavaged with an antiseptic, and finally, have an ointment applied daily to reduce the bacterial population. Bandaging will often be indicated to protect the area from further desiccation, and bacterial contamination until it is healed.

I havnt seen bumble foot present like this before, I had a feeling it might have been with the black. Well good thing she was already getting ebsom salt soaks.
