I have 2 leghorn hen that are peeling on their comb as well. Checked for mites and lice they are clear. They are eating drinking and still laying eggs.

Yea it peels of I will clean their combs tomorrow I just didn't know if it was being stage of Favus. My first time chicken owner
It peels off?

Dirt.
Peeling off, could they be eating eggs and getting yolk stuck on the comb?

Could be some dryness, but I don't see anything that says Favus. With cold temperatures, I would just monitor since oils/creams/ointments could potentially lock in moisture which can lead to Frostbite in cold temperatures.

Wipe the combs off with a damp paper towel on a warmish day, early so the tissue can dry. See if that makes a difference.
