What is on their legs?

I let my chickens out the other day and looked at their legs and this is what I saw.





I thought how could they get lice on their feet like that they didn't look like that the other day. I all most put this under the Emergency section to see how to clean them.

Then I looked on the roosters back and said now wait a minute. They were under the tree that was budding out. lol
