What is on top of this poop?

I found this in my coop while cleaning g up poop. It is hollow and not moving. There has been a ton of scales on the shelf under my roosting bars.

Its bard to get a good view, it sorta looks like hay/straw they have ingested, but it could easily be a worm. Could you take a close up version of the thing?
