What is safe to use on my garden for the pests!

I have a small garden that has a fence around it, the girls have never been in there BUT on the chance they ever do, I need to know what I can use to get rid of these dang bugs! All my plants have holes and some have all the leaves eaten off them.

What does everyone use to control bugs in the garden that wont hurt the chickens??

Since many people use Seven dust directly ON the birds to help prevent pests, I'd think that would be a safe bet for your garden plants...

We have had good luck with neem oil. The neat thing is it acts as a fungicide, miticide & pesticide. I would not personally use Sevin around my chickens ever, though many do. You could also try safer soap. It really depends on what is eating your plants.
