Not always. Some have more white than others. Sussex are beautiful birds.

With the pattern and the pink legs I’m agreeing that she’s probably a speckled Sussex! More white develops with each molt, far as I understand.

Most baby things have blue gray eyes, they'll very likely turn gold as she gets older.

Well, I'll be darned! I did not know that about chickens (the eyes always look black/brown to me) ... I learn something new here every day.

I find it's faster to attach photos by clicking "Attach files" than the image icon. I don't know if that's how you attached your pics, but it worked both times.
