What is she???

I looked up 'easter egger' and came across a picture that looked like Skittles but without the spiked comb, puffy "hairdo" and extra claw so I'm thinking you are right about the EE cross. Thanks everybody! Nice chicken by the way

Looks nearly identical to a couple of my Silkie / Polish mix mutts I have running around.

Where did you get Him? That is a pretty big comb just like a couple of the Cockerels I have from that mix

We got her at a chicken swap. We were convinced she was a he until she laid an egg last week. It blew us all away!

With that silly spiked comb it looks like Polish is in the mix.

Sorry there's no Silkie in her. If there was, she'd have darker skin, a different comb, feathered shanks, and 5 toes.

Also, if a bird is colored like an EE that doesn't make it an EE

I'd say she is part Polish part Orpington. Leg color, body type, and plumage color appear to match it. Body and plumage especially.



What color are her legs? They appear white/pink but there's a glary flash on them.

She does actually have 5 toes.

And her legs are kind of a creamy yellow, with the toes being a darker color with black on top.
