It is finally raining here. We have been under a burn ban. I have got to go outside to smell and feel the rain.

My sister lives in Bowling Green. She said it was heading her way too. Supposed to be here tomorrow I think.

Lovely rain tonight. We actually went outside to enjoy it for a bit. The geese ran around like crazy little nuts. They were so excited it was raining. I hope it rains all night long.

It's still raining. I too, hopes it rains all night. The ground is so dry, grass crunches under your feet when walking across the yard.

It rained here today, for the first time in ages. Well, it has rained twice just barely enough to dampen the dust - dried up in 10 minutes I swear, but this has got to be the first *real* rain in about 3 months.
Today it actually rained GOOD solid, lots of water and all day long too, no drying up. It also came thunderstorms, high winds, lots of ligtening and tornado warnings.....such is Arkansas.

Me and hubby snoozed around all afternoon, totally didn't worry about the weather. Hubbs came to bed after me and left the dogs outside! They hate getting rained on! (but looooove swimming, go figure) and the the back gate wasn't locked so the high winds blew the gate open, so when I got up they were out of sight. They never go far and they don't generally stir up trouble, and they are big enough for drivers to see them, but I still worry of course!!!
I smoked a cig in the doorway and left the door open, and was gonna get in the truck to cruise around looking for them....but they came running back inside before I could put on a raincoat, so I guess no harm done. Of course they were soaked so I had to put them in their crates till they dried out a bit

first rain in ages here. started last night and hasnt stopped. now its been 24 hours and will either be raining or snowing in the morning!
