Just hatched 70 out of 100 coturnix a couple of days ago. Two have died of unknown causes and one appears to have wry neck. Just watching that one for a while. I know casualties are to be expected, but I wonder if any of you long-time quail raisers have arrived at a statistic for mortality based on your experience. Out of 70, assuming proper care, how many can I expect to make it to 8 weeks?
Thanks,
