What is the average number of eggs in a nest?

My duck just keeps popping them out, when will she stop?

Her first clutch was 18, her second was 15, is this the normal size?

Im afraid that after being a vegetarian for 2 years, then seeing ducklings hatch, I just couldnt do that. I know, im crazy, lol, but thats just how I feel. when they do hatch though, Ill be looking for new homes for them. I know I wont be able to keep them all.

I don't know about ducks, as mine aren't laying yet, but my chicken hens lay up to 30 eggs at a time before setting them. If it is a young duck, I would think that was normal.

ETA--I would think even moreso if it is a breed that lays fairly well. I know my pekins supposedly would lay 200+ eggs a year. That doesn't give them much down time during laying season!
