That will work for a while they grow so fast it's amazing how fast they grow out of a brooder.

I used towels, too. And the water bowl like Miss Lydia suggested. It worked well for us! It was a of laundry, but 7 years later they are still a lot of work.

How many ducklings will you have? making waterers similar to this and putting it on a tray can really help contain some of the mess they will make. I found an old broiler pan at a thrift store to use and placed a puppy pee pad over it then put down the waterer. View attachment 3088840
