Cochin or Wyandotte would be a great choice. They are both relatively quite, fluffly, round, look good in the yard, have a great disposition, and are easily handled.

Those pics of the Silkie and d'Uccle are adorable! I have 3-wk-old chicks of each and can't wait to see how they grow up to be.

On the meantime, my vote for friendliest is my EE, who loves humans and has stolen our hearts.
