What is the best breed of chicken or cross to use as a broody

M first pick is silkies from experience. Last year, my silkie Angel ( the one in my avatar photo) raised two sets of lit ones. She went broody again for the third time in November, so we didnt alllow her continue that clutch. that was all in her pullet year. Two of my three Buff Orps went broody twice last year. . . . .So far, Angel is already raising her second brood. Two of my Orps just "finished" with their broods, while the third Orp. completed her first brood and started sitting again earlier this week. . . . . .As for my cochins and Brahmas, my mommies yet out of them.

opps, I meant no mommies yet for the brahmas and cochins. The last part is so far this year. This all means it is waayyy past reasonable bedtime when you realize your almost too tired to keep your eyes open but too addicted to chickens to get off the computer and finally get to bed.
