What is the best egg laying bantam?

Quote:
I get on average from all my breeds 6 eggs a week, just some breeds go broody or take a break more than others. I think laying a egg that is only a third smaller than a std when they are half or less the size of stds probably takes a lot more out of them.

My Old English Game Bantams lay steadily and I love them!

My BLR Wyandotte bantams and my Black Rock bantams are by far my best bantam layers. They are much better than my Cochins, OEG, RIR and other bantams that I have.

Many times though, it's not the breed that's a better layer but the particular line you have.

Im not completly sure because I only have two roo's (there brothers I dont fight them, plus who fights bantams?). But game bantams, from what I hear, lay very very well. Almost as good as leghorns. But just like any good laying hen. It depends on sunlight and feed.
