I want a meter that is accurate. The "Spot Check" is great for temperature,
but I want to be certain about the humidity level.
What do you recommend?

lol I don't think so... maybe no one wants to commit. I'm still new at this but here's my story:
I bought one on ebay from incubatorwarehose.com (combo thermo/hygro meter
It runs a bit higher than the digital incubator I bought later. I'm not sure which is correct.
I plan to take it to Beverage People (our local beer/wine/cheese supplies & classes store) and see if they can help me check/calibrate it.
Happy Hatching!

Its a great question, I bought a cheap combo one at Home Depot it lasted one hatch and went on the fritz during lockdown so I would love someone to give more suggestions.

I use a digital, temp/ hygrometer combo from Amazon, less than 10$. It is great so far. I verified the temp and I am calibrating the hygrometer now. I have been told that they should be calibrated regurarly. Check thios link:

it is pretty easy, and I would be sure to get one that is adjustable. ...........stan

Google calibrating a hygrometer. Basically you put it in a bag with a bowl of water that has too much salt in it to completely dissolve. This gives a rh of 75% in the sealed bag. Put your hygrometer in the sealed bag for about 8 hrs to adjust and write the calibration on it.
