I see some posts on here about Dumor not being great etc....
The only place I can find around me that carries feed is TSC and now I hear that they will be carrying Purina..... should i be trying to find something else somewhere? suggestions?

Best is in the eye of the beholder...lol Everyone has an opinion. The TSC here sells dumor and Kent. That is where I bought my first bag of kents.
I have a feed store here called hachmans they been making feed for 80 years. They sell their own and kent feeds. I used Kent Chick Go medicated for chicks and now my older ones are on hachmans own 50 50 blend till they start to lay then I'll put them either on kents extra egg or hachmans layer feed.

I have an agway less than a mile from my house, and so I have been using their feed. Our chickens are just beautiful...vivid colored and shiny feathers...I will be switching them over to the Egg producer pellets soon. They are also free-ranged out in the yard alot too. I do have questions about the next level of feed though. One layer feed you can give them scratch, the other you can't....I intend to start giving them scratch once things start to die back..and bugs became more scarce..but obviously I will use the correct feed!
