Ok, still trying to figure this out. Can you go into more detail about the high tension wire?

Thanks!
Kelly

The tension wire is made for use on chain link fences(at the bottom). It is available at the Home Depot or Lowes for about $20.00 for a 300ft roll. It stiffens the seam and also allow a tighter squeeze on the Loxit rings.

So you just run it through the seam before you clamp it down? Or is connected in some way to the hardware cloth to pull it tight?

Sorry for all the questions! I guess Im really no Bob the Builder!

I use 2 tension wires for each seam. One on each overlapped edge of the hardware cloth that I connecting. I just lay it along(not through)the seam edges and crimp it along with the hardware cloth. Hope this makes sense.

ive always used metal feed bag ties they seem to work good and ive always had good luck with zip ties just get the ones that are automotive grade they hold up longer than the walmart kind you can find them at like napa auto parts places like that

Ok, last question, I hope! On the pliers for the Loxit rings- are they the same pliers for the hog rings? I didnt see any specific pliers for the Loxit rings.

Thanks!
Kelly
