What is the best way to get a hen to go broody

They have been laying fertilized eggs, but none have gone broody, TIPS?

You can't force them - some will some won't.

First of all what breed is it....Like most leghorns i wouldnt even bother trying, or cochins are the exact oppisite
In general put in a seperate cage (like dog crate) With a nest and food and water and not too much room to move around in the dark and depending on the breed they should go broody fast.

fast saying 2 days to a week

yep...it's like Wildsky said some will go broody, others never will. It's a hormonal condition and there's nothing you can do to make it happen. It's been bred out of a lot of breeds...especially hatchery birds.

I have never heard of barred rockbeing persistant broody so i would not use my method for them
this would work for
Silkies
Cochins
Brahmas

I think you should get one of those breeds; Best incubators in the world

And they will go broody in a heartbeat​

Ohh thats too bad

Well that means you couldnt hatch anyways right? But barred rocks can go broody but i would think you just have to give her time. The more you want her to go broody the longer shell take !​
