It is an Ameraucana . I have 2 very smart chickens I would recommend them to anyone.

Yes and no -- your bird is an Easter Egger -- a mixed breed bird that is created using Ameraucana/Araucana parentage with a bird of a different breed. These birds, EE, are often sold by hatcheries, feed stores, etc as "Americauanas" or even the correct spelling of Ameraucana - but the Ameraucana is an actual breed, as opposed to the mixed breed Easter Egger. Generally speaking, with the exception of working with a couple very specific hatcheries, if you are being sold an Americana/Ameraucana you are going to be getting an Easter Egger unless you are purchasing your birds from a reputable breeder.

she came from a feed and seed store in a batch that was supposed to be barred rocks.

She is gorgeous! I'd love to have a hen like that and an early layer of blue eggs! Bonus!

You can never really tell what you're going to get when you get chicks from a hatchery, but to me she almost looks like a blue wheaten Ameraucana, but also she looks mixed. It's hard to tell, but she has pretty good coloring for a blue wheaten.

I can for sure say NOT a barred rock lol. My guess is EE.
