What is the difference between Barred rock and Domonique roosters?

Which one is nicer? Which one takes better care of his hens?

At one time they were the same breed. A dominique has a rose come where the BR has a straight comb. There are still some old line bred doms out there but most of the BR has been watered down by hatcheries. They are both good breeds.
