What is the gender of the silkie chick ?

I totally thought male because I have a blue Silkie chick (though not bearded) whose crest was quite square when younger that I thought meant cockerel, and I thought your chicks crest was square... maybe not all hope is lost for Pebbles! (My blue Silkie)

How old is your little silkie ? What’s the personality like with the rest of the group ? Yours looks almost identical to mine. I would say there is hope ! Personality is a huge help in identifying (most of the time)

Pebbles is now 5 weeks old, the picture was I *think* from her first week or two.

“she” seems to be fairly friendly, but can get scared easily.
