what is the LONGEST it took you to break a broody hen??

Took me about a week of throwing her butt out since the eggs she was sitting on were eaten I wasn't playing games. She's not broody anymore.

My problem is getting them to stay broody, mine usually quit at around day 10.

No of course not that is not what I did, I wouldn't do that just because they went broody.

on a different thread someone said to put a bag of ice underthem...otherwise i just leave my broodies and collect their eggz everyday

1 Min. Why? Because the way i break broody's is : i Reach under them, and grab the Egg ( S ) !

sure it hurts When they Peck ( They WILL Peck ) , But She will get out of the Nest Box!
