What is the minimum to let shipped eggs "rest"?

i usually go for about 10-12 hours, maybe a bit less sometimes and it's always worked great

They are with my mail lady right now, they will get here between 12 and 2. With all the shipping I've done, 9 times out of 10 it says "arrival at unit" when it leaves the po. My friend's hubby is a supervisor over the delivery people at a local PO, not mine, and said they aren't supposed to do that, but most do. I ship at least one package per week, and at times 20 or more, and that happens a lot. I can't wait Lisa, and I'm sure my hens can't either.
