What is the most "clueless" you have ever been?

I was talking with my daughter this evening and she kept bringing up this boy, well, it was OBVIOUS he liked her from the things he was saying. He was even getting her something for Valentines Day. I said "I think he has a crush on you" and she looked stunned and perplexed all in the same moment, like it never occured to her. Now she says she feels awkward....
What is the most clueless YOU have ever been?

I also feel ya cause Im to the point the I will bring up the calculator for subtractions or google science questions!!!!!!!!!!!

But I will say on my part that they have totally changed the addition and subtraction formulas since I was in school.

Many moons ago I used to work at an oldies club and one night when I was working the beer tub (a large wheeled tub that holds a LOT of ice and bottles) a customer kept hanging around my tub, making it hard for other customers to buy anything! She kept leaning forward into the ice repeating over and over again how nice and cool the ice felt. After several hints that customers needed to get by and having her just resume her position (and antics) when they left I started to get more than a little frustrated. I counted on a lot of traffic for tips.

When my Boss came over to relieve me so I could sing (also part of my job there) she (the "customer") followed me to the stage and hung out at the edge of the stage! When returning to my station I asked my boss what the heck was up with this gal! I thought maybe she was a little off mentally. He looked at me like I was the dumbest thing on the planet and said "Oh Sunny! You can't be that dense!" It still took me a minute to realize what he meant! I mean I was used to guys hitting on me but... Boy did I feel like an idiot! Once I got it I was able to tell her (nicely) that she was barking up the wrong tree.

When I got out of nursing school I took the first job offered to me at a long term care facility. It was a quiet 11-7 shift and the biggest task was staying up until 6am to start my med pass and dealing with the CNA s. There was some very odd behavior that I could not figure out.

1. They ate like pigs ALL night long

2. I was constantly having to wake them up. They seemed very sleepy for people that had worked nights for a while.

3. They would go in the bathroom and empty the tobacco out of cigars into the toilet

4. They all wore very heavy perfume/cologne

I was complaining to a girl I went to school with about how annoying it was and she very nicely explained to me what was going on and we had a good laugh. When I look back I just feel very foolish.
