What is the most common time of the day a goat will give birth?

NO NO kidding all at once.... Mine are to be two mths apart....

I don't think I could handle having all 3 kid at once and two be pre-mature....

I'm a nervous wreck as it is having to watch a newbie kidd and me a newbie owner of a doe.... We only had wethers growing up...

Two years ago was the worst. We had NINE goats kid all at once--everyone having twins & triplets--and it was -15 or so out...so they were freezing to the ground as soon as they hit. We came home at 5:30pm in complete darkness/wind-howling and my in-laws were out of town (they are their goats). Hubby yelled across the pasture to hurry up because they were all dying. In actuality, only a few were still alive--many had been dead for some time. Only three survived.

Although I did notice that when one goes, they ALL kid at once! LOL

You ain't kidding on that one.
My biggest herd about 4 years ago was 120.
I bred 1/2---waited about 1 month and bred the other 1/2 to give me a break.

Yup, 1 blew and all 59 popped out kids so fast it was wild!

And that 1 month inbetween...yup, went super fast!

Well everyone was right. She had two girls this morning, it's 15 degrees outside. Last week it was in the 40's and 50's and the rest of the week it is going to be 40's. She just had to have them today. I'm trying to get them warmed up and making sure they are eating. One of them isn't really trying to eat. I'm debating if I should bring it inside and feed her.

don't bring it inside and try to feed yet.

leave the momma alone and let the baby have some time. just be sure it is dry and all and taken care of in general but let it takes its course. kids can survive a few days without eating (which I would never let go that far...lol) but let it get its bearing and all should be fine.

rub to stimulate a bit and just watch the action before jumping in.

hope that helps a bit

I waited a while and then rubbed them down with a towel to get them dried off. They are eating and trying to hop around. So far they are doing really well.

THEY are nursing.

that is great!!!!! yea I want to help my kids right off also, but I keep saying to myself.....wait, wait, wait, they were JUST born....give them a minute..HA HA HA

so glad they are doing well. In a week you will have little energizer kids on your hands....the hopping and jumping so high is so cool!!!!!
