what is the most popular hatch day

Do chicks usually hatch on the 21 day, or 22. Today is day 20. I think I see a teeny pimple on one of my eggs, but i am not sure. Can someone tell me what to look for. I hear that the eggs move around mine just sit there.

My buff orpingtons were in a big hurry to get out. They hatched on day 20. Most hatch on day 21

You are looking for a pip, which looks a little crack about half way between the middle of the egg and the big end. that's where the chick will start it's zip. They don't always move around and wiggle. I missed several pips because they didn't look like they were doing anything.

my temp in my forced air incubator is 99.5 and humidity is at 69% to 70% is that fine?

On day 20, 65-70 is fine. 50 is the recommended humidity reading for days 1-18.
