May be you should re-think your question.
In you post header you asked the question, "What is the name of the Lakenvelders color pattern"
Then you asked the question, "I read that this color pattern (when found on other birds) is just called lakenvelder? This is the first I've ever seen that, and I don't think it's right. But I need confirmation and can't find any online."

You are a little cranky pants

I did read your original question and did understand it (from my side of the fence it was kind of funny to watch people respond wrong repeatedly

Anyway, I don't really know the answer, but on the chicken color calculator, when you click on that pattern it just says lakenvelder. So I believe they are using it as a color/variety name or perhaps it's because the color is only available on the breed. Are you thinking of trying to apply the variety (my personal favorite and the next breed I plan to acquire if I can find a SQ line) to another breed?

Exactly? I don't understand where the confusion lies?
The black, white, black; black, buff, black; blue, white, blue; etc. color pattern found on Lakenvelders.

On another site, someone has a bird with similar pattern and called it lakenvelder. I'd not ever seen the name referring to the pattern when found on a different breed, and wasn't sure. But everything online that I found referring to 'lakenvelder' referenced the breed, not the color.

what other breeds are you thinking of that have the same pattern as a lakenvelder?
as far as i know, the pattern is specific to their breed and calling it lakenvelder would make sense.

The confusion lies in the first sentence you wrought, "What is the name of the Lakenvelders color pattern"
I posted Golden, He is a Golden Lakenvelder. That color pattern on a Lakenvelder is called Golden.
Now if another breed would have that color pattern it may or may not be Golden. I do know that it would not be a Lakenvelder pattern just like there is no color called a Andalusian Blue, it is Blue.

It's not breed specific, but about the only ones I've seen with the pattern are Lakenvelders and Vorwerks. But the bird I saw with a similar pattern on was a Serama, though I was told it also exists on Old English.
