What is the quitest and smallest for ducks

I am looking for a pair of ducks. But i dont want something that is big and I really dont want a duck that is noisy. I found a home for my call ducks. I couldnt take the females noise anymore. But i like ducks. Any suggestions.?

Might i suggest looking into non-domestics? Teal and wood ducks and mandarins are all beautiful birds that are very quite(they don't quack, just whistle and other quite noises)

And I have heard that ringed teal can be friendly sometimes like calls. I am going to get some in october.

I have Hottentots and would recommend them or Ringed Teals.

They are extra quiet and very small.


Is Alberta too far from you?

There is a breeder there. I also found one in Quebec, but their site doesn't seem to work.


Both offer Ringed Teals and several other Teals and small ducks.

also drakes are more quiet than the ducks. My little crested runner drake Sammy is really quiet but his mate Laurel a Khaki campbell duck is LOUD especially when she get in the pond and he doesnt follow,
