What is the strangest thing your chickens ate? Mine just ate crawfish Monica and aligator tail

I had left over crawfish and alligator tail meat, by time I got the camera and came out it was gone.

Mine love crab. I give them the leftover bodies and shell bits after we have a crab feast and they go to town pecking at the carcasses and finding every little bit us humans left behind. They eat eat quite a bit of the shell too. Same thing with shrimp bodies and heads. Even better when the shrimp bellies are covered in roe.

Alligator though...that's pretty exotic for chicken feed.

The shell of the crab is for their egg shells

LOL... pretty odd for humans too but in Louisiana anything goes..... one thing about alligator meat it is NON GMO
