What is this and should I be alarmed?

So I was walking outside this morning and come across this strange small puddle. Is it a shell less egg or diariaha of some sort? If it is diarihia I have two suspects of who did it. Either Roseanna our Rhode Island Red because she hasn't been acting like herself lately and acting sort of sickly, or Buttercup our White Leghorn because her feathers near her butt were all black and gross looking. So, should I be worrying about this? Also who do you think did it so we can take care of her. (I will try to attach a pic of Buttercup, but she was in the nesting box right now so I couldn't.)

I'm sorry no one answered you.

Can you take some photos of your hens?
How old are they?
How long have you had them?
Adding your location to your profile is useful when asking for help. Are you in the US or another country?

If you have a vet, get a fecal float to check for worms.
Can you tell us more about Roseanna - you mention she is acting sickly - what are her symptoms - lethargy, not eating/drinking, tail down, etc. When did she last lay an egg?

Buttercup, the Leghorn, if she has a black gross looking rear end, wash her up and give her a looking over. Is the black from poop, does she have any maggots or necrotic tissue, etc. Also when did she last lay an egg?

I am sorry I took so long to reply. The chickens are about 11 months old, and we have had them since they were 2 days old. I am in the U.S. roseanna hasnt been coming out of the coop lately, and when she has she has been moving very slowly. I think that she has been laying her eggs daily, but I have multiple brown layers, so it is hard to tell. I will try to attach some pics soon. Buttercup is an excellent layer, and has been laying daily. I do believe it is just from poop.
