What is this chick breed??

Hello!

I just picked up some chicks from TS, I asked for two ISA browns, two barred rocks and two golden laced wyandottes. All the chicks look like they’re supposed to except this one. Is this a barred rock? Also they’re all pullets. Thank you!

I'm pretty sure it has muffs.

I think it's most likely an Easter Egger.

How do you tell an Olive Egger from any other kind of Easter Egger at this age?
(I know how to tell after they start laying.)

Yes, it has both ear muffs and a beard.


@Kchoquette, looks almost like a GLW x EE… I have a Golden Laced Wyandotte X Easter Egger chick..

He’s there all the way on the left.

It's just a guess. The chick has the right coloring for a black copper Marans cross type olive egger.

That makes sense.

I noticed it didn't have the chipmunk stripe pattern that is so common in Easter Eggers, but they come in so many other colors that doesn't mean much
