my chickens wings always are a little apart from their body but if it is the first time you have seen it check under their wings. there might be a bug or something that makes so they cant put them down

Chickens do that to cool their body off. How warm is it where you live? She lifts her wings up to 'take the blanket off of her'. Also, if it isn't hot where you live, it could be a mite problem.

Yup, definitely hot - word of warning - if it gets 100 or above, you are in danger of loosing a chicken from heat stroke. You can help them cool down by misting them with water, (They won't like it...) A fan, a kiddie pool of water, electrolytes in water, ice cubes in their water, and frozen watermelon/other cold treats.

Yes, it's because your chickens are hot! Make sure they have cool, fresh water and plenty of shade during the hot days.
